As with all Cub Scout family packs, Pack 294 divides its scouts into grade-specific and gender-specific groups called Dens. These Dens typically consist of 4-10 youth, a Den Leader, and a Den Co-Leader. Each den has 2-3 meetings per month, one of which may be an outing in the community. Each youth should have a parent at den meetings.
For more information about how Cub Scouts works, visit the Cub Scout National website. There are additional details on family scouting. Once a youth completes Cub Scouts in 5th grade, he/she will cross over to the Scouts BSA program (formerly known as Boy Scouts). |
