As with all Cub Scout packs, Pack 294 divides its scouts into age appropriate groups called Dens. These Dens consist of 5 to 7 boys of the same rank and age, a Den Leader, Den Co-Leader, and for Tigers, an adult partner. Typically there is 1 den per rank, but when appropriate a rank could be split up into more dens to accommodate a larger number of boys (i.e. 14 Wolves could be broken into 2 dens of 7 boys). Each Den is assigned a Den number and will be known as this Den number throughout their time with the Pack.
